Masterclass

The Ticino’s CCAlps partner will offer the unique opportunity of a Masterclass on “Storytelling in 4D: Designing Narratives Across Platforms” with the great digital strategist and producer Adam Sigel (Los Angeles). Creative Camp Ticino

From 6th to the 8th of August, 2013
The Creative Camp is open to scriptwriters, filmmakers, directors, producers, new media content creators, advertising executives, video-journalists, interaction and game designers, social media designers. People/companies interested in interactive storytelling and new narrative formats are all welcome to apply to the Creative Camp and to foster a cross-fertilization approach.

The Creative Camp is leaded by international experts and mentors engaged in the three-days Development Lab. A final public presentation will end the Creative Camp’s Development Lab and will take place in the presence of well-established producers, film commissioners, distributors and audiovisual industry representatives.

Date and venue

The Creative Camp will be held in the beautiful Locarno (Switzerland) from the 6th to the 8th of August, 2013.

Application procedure

Participants wishing to attend the Development Lab with a pre-developed idea/project can apply individually or as a team of maximum 3 members. Applications are to be submitted by Thursday, the 27th of June (submission is now closed), using the application form, together with the following documentation:

  • Curriculum Vitae and professional track record (max. 3 pages).
  • Project idea/concept (max. 2 pages)
  • Portfolio (or work sample; PDF or website)

Project ideas will be selected on the basis of some fundamental criteria: the potential market impact of the idea; the pervasiveness of the foreseen media ecosystem and its transnational dimension.

Submitted materials must be in English or have English subtitles/translation.

The selected participants will be informed at the latest by the 1st of July, 2013.

The partecipation is free.

Accomodation: the Creative Camp Ticino takes place during a high (peak) season period. A limited number of rooms have been pre-booked for the Creative Camp’s participants (*** hotel, rates: single room CHF 112/day, double room CHF 214/day, triple room CHF 266/day, breakfast and taxes included).
